Welcome to The Parea, Kalamitsi, Greece
Our newly-built complex which was completed in 2009, consists of five guest houses, situated at the South-easternmost end of the Sithonia peninsula and belongs to the Toroni Municipality.
The beach of Calamitsi with its crystal clear blue waters is, well justifiably, regarded as one of Greece's hidden jewels, situated at only three hundred metres (300m, 960 feet) away from the complex. You will be fascinated by the few-minute stroll across a lush tree-planted area leading to a settlement priding restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a super market.
Every dwelling is autonomous from end to end, with verandas and balconies on the north and south sides of the building.
The living room, a fully equipped -also by a dishwasher- kitchen, the dining room, a WC and a double-bedded bedroom adjoining a veranda, are located on the ground floor. It covers a surface of forty square metres.
On the first floor are situated a second double-bedded bedroom leading to a personal balcony, a hallway, a bathroom with a shower cabin and a washing-machine and finally a second balcony.
The second floor covers a net surface of twenty seven square metres. On the second floor, we have made a spacious, amply-illumined loft with two single beds and a separate bathroom with a shower cabin. The loft covers a surface of twenty three square metres.

situated on well maintained meadow and you park your car under venerable
olive trees. The beach is small and clean. It has 3-4 bars and is abaout 300
meters away. Each cottage is well maintained, clean and equipped with
everything you need and the owner Costa is nice, obliging and always ready
to help. We strongly recommend you to visit this place!.

We have four boys (ages ranging from 2 year old - 9 year old) finding the right place to stay is quite difficult - but Parea was perfect! The beach is a short and wonderful walk through a tree lined road with pastures of cattle. The beach is lovely white diamond sand, and a mini island in swimming distance to explore with the kids. The sea is crystal azure!
The townhouses are WONDERFUL! Super clean and organized with lofty spaces. GREAT kitchen with all the amendments. In three levels there is plenty of room for a family. The bathrooms are up to par with a four star hotel. There is a large lawn area outside your doorstep for BBQ and play. The various balconies were a treasure at night with my wife with the sound of night crickets in the very old (200-300 years) olive groves.
The owners Costas and Vicky are lovely, hospitable, and create a very welcoming atmosphere for you and all the other guest in the townhouses. The kids grew very fond of them and would spent much time with them. It is really a wonderful "home away from home" and although we like to vacation in different place each summer, we are definitely heading back to Parea. Actually, now that I think about it perhaps it was not a good idea to share this "find" with others, i might not find availability next year...

Area description During your holidays, you will have the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy the sea on the clean Beach of Calamitsi or combine swimming with a refreshing drink at one of the best beach bars in Halkidiki.
Those of you who are interested in water sports, you will find a team of experienced divers and instructors at Calamitsi. All other sorts of water sports, like wind-surfing, wake board, banana water skiing etc., you will find them at the neighbouring beaches.
In any case, you have the opportunity to engage in various activities, like enjoying bike rides on bicycles that we offer you, hiking and sightseeing around the wonderful mountains and forests of this area.
We recommend enjoying a picnic at the spring of Dragoudel, under huge plane and chestnut trees, listening to the sounds of water and the rustling of leaves, and carrying on with your exploration of the incredible mountain with its numerous natural beauties.
How to get there Once you’re in Thessaloniki you get to the ring and move south taking direction towards Halkidiki. After about 50 km you’ll arrive at Moudania where you take direction towards Sithonia. When you reach Nikiti and pass it, at the intersection you take direction towards Neos Marmaras where you’ll see signs that continue to Kalamitsi (total distance 42 km).
